To recognise their contribution and thank them, we want you to take part in our exciting new challenge. We’re asking you to walk a day in their shoes and pledge to raise vital funds for the hospice and community services in your area, through the essential care and support for children and their families in Wales with life-limited conditions.
Always wanted to understand what a day in the life of a care team member at Tŷ Hafan was like? Well sign up today free of charge and receive your green laces in the post before 1 September!
“I’m thrilled to be supporting Walk a day in their shoes and be part of raising essential funds to support Tŷ Hafan. So, join me and sign up today”
Dan is our dads’ family support worker, there to organise events and activities for dads who face similar situations, as well as being that emotional support that men often lack.
Sophie, our transition nurse, helps older children and teens as they make their way through that difficult time in a young person’s life, looking after both their clinical and wellbeing needs.
Complementary therapist, Katie, provides calming therapies for children and their families, so important in helping relieve pain and anxiety, as well as improving their quality of life.
Nurse, Claire, looks after a child’s clinical needs, while still bringing that Tŷ Hafan magic, allowing parents to be parents, not carers, and enjoy the time they have with their child.
