‘This is the hardest thing I have ever done’

Last week we spoke to Matt Evans, one of a group of Tŷ Hafan fathers and friends who are, as we write now, in the middle of an immense physical and mental challenge in a bid to raise £50,000 for Tŷ Hafan.

We’ve been following their progress on our social media feeds and here are just a few additional photos they’ve taken along the way:

Setting off from Tŷ Hafan on Weds 29^th June

Day 1 – climbing five of the highest mountains in Wales in just one day!

Day 2 – climbing five of the highest peaks in the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains in just one day

Georgie Fear, summed it up, when he said: “This is the hardest thing I have ever done.”

We wish all those taking part the very best of luck as they finish this challenge tomorrow with a 55 mile bike ride from the Brecon Beacons to Cardiff, where they aim to finish at St David’s Hotel in Cardiff Bay at 2pm.
