Who would have thought that a club, a ball and a group of ambitious golf players could raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause? We certainly didn’t when we arranged our first Keepmoat Charity Golf Day in aid of Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice back in 2013.
Since then, we have raised a staggering £14,500 for the children and families supported by Tŷ Hafan, and we are back again for our third year on 21 July 2015 , hoping to exceed our targets once more.
Here at Keepmoat, we like to put back into the communities in which we work and we are delighted to have been working across south Wales for over four years. Tŷ Hafan has always stood out to us as a brilliant charity to raise vital funds for and we hope that in the years that follow, Keepmoat and other companies across the UK will raise even more money to aid Tŷ Hafan in supporting children and families.
In just a couple of months, 88 players will take on 18 holes of golf on the Wales National Course at the Vale Hotel followed by the tournament presentation, with further opportunities to raise money for the charity.
We are very proud of what the golf day has achieved and we hope that with the support of others, we can make this year an even bigger success.
Places to play on the course are nearly all sold out, but any Tŷ Hafan supporters wishing to assist by sponsoring or donating a raffle prize can email: Jayne.Jenkins@keepmoat.com.
