Louisa Johnson was crowned winner of The X Factor 2015 on Sunday 13 December. The X Factor winner’s single will be in aid of Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase. As members of Together for Short Lives, Tŷ Hafan will benefit from some of the proceeds from the single.
The winner’s charity single is now available to download and the CD single will be available in stores on Tuesday 15 December.
Simon Cowell says, “I have worked with these inspirational charities for many years and I’m delighted that The X Factor winner’s single sales will help families who are going through such unimaginably difficult times. In 2015, raising funds for hospice care is more important than ever. The money we raise will make a real difference.”
Barbara Gelb, CEO of Together for Short Lives adds, “We are so pleased for Louisa and want to congratulate them on winning this year’s X Factor. Forever Young is a fabulous winner’s charity single and Louisa’s talent will be a real boost to single sales. By buying The X Factor winner’s single you will be helping children with life-shortening conditions and their families get the round the clock care they desperately need. The money raised will support a range of extraordinary children’s palliative care services right across the UK delivering incredible support and lifeline care to children with short lives.”
