Between 4th-7th July a group of Tŷ Hafan Dad's, supported by uncles, brothers and staff will climb 5 mountains in 55 hours! They will be taking on Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowden, Cadair Idris & Penyfan in Wales.
Climbing a combined height of 5,187m and covering over 36 miles in total this challenge is about the dad’s pushing themselves, inspiring others, making friendships and proving once again that our dad’s are stronger together. It is more than just a group of men climbing mountains, it is about showing others that no matter what the odds, no matter what obstacles lie before you, that you can accomplish anything. This is a group of dad’s who regardless of their current destination are walking the same journey in life and now want to walk together to inspire others and themselves.
A huge thank you to our fabulous sponsors Convey Law, Bunting Europe, Conveyancing Data Services and Groundsure who are kindly supporting the 5in55 challenge. There are still opportunities for your business to get involved. Your support would mean we can cover the costs of the challenge allowing all the money raised by the dads over the course of the challenge to go straight back to Tŷ Hafan. Click here for further information about sponsoring the challenge or call our Community Fundraising Manager, Emma Sankey on 07917 436025 for more information.
